Having assured Mark over and over that she and the baby would be fine, Ashley kissed Mark goodbye as he went over to Chord and Di’s to comfort his friend. When he was gone, Ashley settled onto the couch with Colton who just stared up at her, almost smiling a few times as she sang to him.
She had to admit, she was glad Jenna was coming over. She hadn’t felt up to leaving the house much in the last few days, but she missed having real human interaction outside of Mark and the baby(ies). Finally there was a knock on the door and Ashley smiled. She carried Colton over to the door and pulled it open. “Hey you!” she said, pulling her friend into a hug. “And hello baby!” she cooed, rubbing Jenna’s belly. “Come on in,” she said, standing aside to let her in. “I know you said you wanted to talk to both of us but Mark went over to see Chord.” They sat on the couch and Ashley put the baby in his bouncer, then turned to Jen. “So what’s up buttercup? How is everything going?”
Jenna grinned at her friends enthusiasm, it definitely mirrored her own. She was excited about seeing Ashley and of course getting a proper glimpse of what motherhood would be like firsthand from someone who knew. “Hey Sweetie” she said to Ashley before smiling as her friend addressed the baby too. Ruby definitely recognized her voice and kicked and rolled in response. She already had a personality and she would respond in the only way she knew how by making her presence known. “Hey cutie” Colton was beautiful . Jenna let out a soft chuckle cautious of the baby in Ashleys arms as Ashley rubbed her belly. Colton had grown since the last time she saw him. She didn’t want to be one of those annoying friends who just came around to see the baby, so she focused on Ashley “how are you feeling?” she asked as she headed inside. Jenna knew only too well, how ill pregnancy could make you feel. When Ashley said that Mark was gone to comfort his friend, she nodded her understanding and soon settled on the soda beside her friend. Giving a small glance to Colton who was now in the bouncer, she turned to Ashley and smiled “hey little one” she gave her friends stomach a gentle pat and then hugged her again. “So basically, I really wanted to thank you and Mark for all of your support over the past few years but more so this past year. I wouldn’t be marrying Harry and i wouldn’t be expecting this precious gift from god, If i was still with Michael” just the mention of his name made her tense up and shake “I could have been one of those horror stories that you read about every single day batters wives, the unlucky ones” tears welled in her eyes and she blinked them away “your strength and support gave me the strength to break away, i really needed the push. If anything ever happened to me ABD Harry we would need good people to keep her on the right path and if you guys could do it for me, you could do it for her” her eyes went to her friends and she smiled “it would really mean so much go Harry and I, if you agreed to be Rubys godparents” she looked at Colton he was such a sweet contented little thing and Jenna knew they had made the right decision.Jenna smiled and got ready a simple long green vest, some blue maternity jeans and some green heels a simple green headband keeping her long hair off her face. She was happy and Harry was treating her like a princess whilst she recovered from premature labour. Heading outside, she got in her car and put it in drive and pulled carefully out of the drive way. She had something important to ask her and Mark and today was the day that she was going to do it. Jenna couldn’t wait to see Colton, he was such a beautiful baby in a few months her and Harry would have one of their own. Her Nursery was now complete and both sets of grandparents were going crazy in their grandparent duties.
Soon the Sallings house emerged and Jenna pulled into the spot next to their cars and got out. Walking to the door, she couldn’t stop smiling as she knocked and waited. This was the first time she had been out of the house in 9days and the fresh air felt amazing on her exposed skin.

ashsallingTEXT: Great, i’ll be there Ash. Haha of course, Ruby is moving around so much now. It’s amazing, Harry stays there for hours just watching her kick. He thinks it’s funny to use my stomach as a table when he’s in bed. He’ll rest his cup on it and everything. Men eh? can’t live with them and can’t live without them.

ashsalling*Private* I eat like a pig, i inhale food. I haven’t been allowed Sushi since i found out i was pregnant. I can’t wait to eat Sushi, i am hoping Harry brings some to the hospital when i have Ruby. Yes, i was 10weeks when i found out but i was still ill for the weeks prior to the discovery. I put it down to work related stress. Hahahaha.
AnonymousThey left and didn’t even tell me before they went. We had so much stuff planned and i was quite upset by that. After 6months in a ship with someone, you don’t just expect that to happen.
I’ve moved on and i had to, i haven’t had much of a chance to interact with our new Harry but Dee is lovely OOC and i look forward to doing more of that.
